What is Twookie?

Twookie is a social, community-driven service that enables sports fans to share and collaborate on views on professional sports matchups. Twookie leverages Twitter to ask "what are you betting on?", then synthesizes the data it collects to predict outcomes of future games.

Why Twookie?

If you listen to a lot of sports radio, you've no doubt heard ads offering "guaranteed winners!" and "our pick of the year!". Being firm believers in the idea that groups of informed people are collectively smarter — and better at predicting future outcomes — than the so-called "experts", we wanted to put this to the test. By collecting and aggregating predictions from a community of informed and avid sports fans, Twookie is able to harness the collective wisdom and distill it down to a single number.

Who is Twookie?

A couple of sports junkies based in the Silicon Valley who also build web apps for fun. If you have any feedback to share, please send your rants and raves to feedback [at] attwookie [dot] com or DM us on Twitter.
